About Me
I have 3 children, all of them are grown now. I'm also a grandmother of 5, ages ranging from 9 -15 yrs old. I love to listen to music and cooking! I also really love creating inspirational T-Shirts. I was born in Newark, New Jersey, and we lived in Irvington, New Jersey until I was 11 yrs old. Then we moved to Washington DC & I've been in this area since then. I currently work for a Homeless Shelter in the Beltsville Area. I have a deep love for helping others and giving back to the community.
I started cleaning up for my sister, Makeba, when she moved into her home over 10 years ago, she needed a lot of work done in the house. So, I started organizing and cleaning for her. My Job is one I never saw myself doing, I’ve been cleaning for others for more than 15 years now and I love it!
“I can remember when I was younger how I used to do my chores. By the time I reached my 20s, I started loving to organize. I love the way the house smells after you clean up, fresh and bright. The air around you after cleaning is just wonderful to me.“

Our Story
It all started on a napkin…
One evening my friend Perry & I were talking on the phone about his time in prison. He served 13 yrs there. And he said “I’m Never Going Back”. And I said in a joking manner “Yeah you’re neeevveerrrr going back!” And we were talking about how that would be a good idea for a T-Shirt. I believe we all have had a Dark Place in our lives that we never want to visit again.... P & R (Perry & Roslyn) includes him because he really encouraged me when I wasn't sure I could do this. So I was talking to my tattoo artist about my vision and he did drawing on a napkin for me while I was getting a tattoo. And from the napkin to a blank piece of paper to a black & white sketch. And that's how the Baby was Born. So about a month later, I was laying in the bed and Jesus started speaking me about making T- Shirts, to lift up spirits & empower people. It. So I decided I would start making the T-Shirts.
I started by giving shirts to some clients at the shelter & selling to people on the street. I believe everyone needs to be lifted up at some point in their life. It doesn't hurt anyone to lift someone's spirit & brighten their day. When I started this position at the shelter, I never dreamed I would receive the enjoyment that I receive from it. Watching clients come feeling broken and leave with housing & job opportunities and the children leave with big, bright smiles on their faces & bright futures waiting for them!
So I combined my love for cleaning and making t-shirts, helping to brighten everyone’s smiles and homes. I love what I do!
